Happy Valentine’s Day! Hyvää ystävänpäivää!
The following is taken from this week’s ES magazine ‘Got the Love’ weekend edition. Throughout the magazine they had all these ‘Five best places to do something’. I thought to share this with you as I found it so funny. Not very romantic, but funny :)
Five places to break up
Arrange to meet at the St Pancras Grand Champaign Bar before declaring you can’t deal with commitment and need to see the world and oh, must dash, your Eurostar to Paris (one way) is ready to board.
If you’re expecting hysteric, opt for the quiet open space of this royal park. When it’s all said and done there are a host of lovely pubs around to celebrate alone.
3. Comptons
A rendezvous with your girlfriend at this Soho gay pub says it all really. Break the news in the quieter upstairs bar and as she runs off in tears, you’re free to cruise the night away.
Position your boyfriend before Philip Hermogenes Calderon’s Broken Vows (1856), which depicts a woman who’s discovered her lover has been unfaithful. Give him the look, and sashay away, leaving him to work it out.
5.Byron, various locations
Because there’s nothing like watching your partner devour a juicy Byron burger to remind you why you don’t fancy them anymore.
